Mojo Monday 258

This card turned out to be "embracing imperfection" for me.  Did you ever get an idea and when you try to make it work, it turns out completely different than what you thought?  Had to flip-flop this one a bit for the Mojo Monday 258 sketch, but I still love this little Gingerbread Man (from Stampin' Up!) with his poor little broken leg. 

MOJO MONDAY 257

OK, Mojo two weeks in a row.  I'm on a roll.  (Only because yesterday was a holiday and I could actually get a card done!)  Only took me another day to get it posted.  But anyway...here is my card for this week's sketch challenge.  I used the House Mouse "Poppy Cot" stamp and Authentique paper from the Gathering collection which coordinated with the whole poppy theme and used Early Espresso and Tangerine Tango card stock from Stampin' Up! 

Mojo Monday 256

Well, it's been a long time since I have posted something, yeah that's right, over a year.  It's funny how you get caught up in the day to day and before you know it, the snow is falling once again.  Anyway, wanted to sneak in some Halloween and Fall cards before the Christmas frenzy begins.
I love the Mojo Monday Sketch challenge and follow it every week.  My intention is usually to get a card done, but somehow...it's Sunday before I know it and well....
For this card I used Stampin' Up's Frightening Feline Stamp (love it being the Crazy Cat lady I have become) and the Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP. 

Mojo Monday 201

This is my first official Mojo Monday sketch challenge. I have done cards before following the sketch, however, my Mojo usually does not kick in until about Sat or Sun so I never get them posted. I think originally, Wisteria Wonder was my favorite of the new Stampin' Up in colors and I wanted to do a card using it. Now all the colors are growing on me and I like this color combo. (Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade and Island Indigo) I used the new Delicate Doilies and Happiest Birthday Wishes Stamp sets and the Flirtatious Specialty DSP.

Crazy Moose

Well, anyone that knows me, knows I have this little "Moose" fetish going on. When The Beary Scrap put out the Monty tear bear (moose) pattern, I was ecstatic! I made him right away and have been wanting to put him on a card ever since. Usually when I think moose, I think winter, brown and green, masculine, etc. Don't know why, but that's not what happened here. So this is my "Crazy Moose" card. But everyone, moose do exist in the spring time and I have definitely had enough winter for a while.
